General description: 

The Company is seeking a highly motivated, self-starter who is looking for a challenging career with a fast-growing company in the Healthcare Services sector.  Applicant should be results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on driving revenue.

A natural self-starter and problem solver who critically assesses own performance and delivers consistent results. Critical to this position is a person who is able to work well with the software, integration, consulting and other partners in the specialty pharmacy ecosystem.   

Applicant must be reliable, tolerant, and determined; an excellent verbal and written communicator, able to position the Shields value in terms of the alliance partner and hospital success with hospital executives. Most importantly, this person must be able to work as a member of a close-knit team that helps everyone be successful.

Job Purpose:

A successful candidate must be comfortable creating meaningful relationships with physicians, executives and other stakeholders at existing Shields partner hospitals. A typical day requires significant preparation reviewing data on the partner hospital, Shields business data, mapping out team responsibilities and partnering for success. 

Channel / Partner Manager Responsibilities:

  • Create Alliance map with value that Shields provides
  • Identify current prospects for Shields Health Solutions at Alliance partners
  • Engage with Business Development and Operations management to produce a full plan that maximizes Shields and Partner value.
  • Understand the health systems needs across the US and requirements and how to leverage partners
  • Identify key events, publications, speaking engagements, podcasts and other avenues to create value for Shields.
  • Leverage existing Shields hospitals to network all across the Northeast
  • Create pipeline and forecast based on weekly activity
  • Create and maintain $5M of committed Shields Revenue / year
